My name is Jamie Gordon, and I have been a mortgage advisor in Portland since 2007. This business and the loan qualifying rules are ever-changing, and I enjoy drawing on my creative nature to help clients determine the best mortgage fit for their situation. Houses come in every shape and size in this city, so whether you are looking for a condo or a home with urban farming potential, I'd love to help get you that sanctuary. Not only will I be your advisor and advocate, I will also personally process the loan, working with you from start to finish. It's my goal to reach out to you with updates, before you have to even pose the questions. Through our communication, I enjoy creating friendships. The majority of my business comes from client referrals, which is a testament to the strength of my client relationships. I may be biased, but my clients are some of the kindest people around. This is part of what makes my job so rewarding.
In my free time I enjoy giving back to my community and helping others. My family and I have been neighborhood coordinators for the Portland Food Project since it rolled into town in 2012. I also volunteer at DHS and with Embrace Oregon, helping kids transition into the foster care system and giving respite to foster parents. I know giving back is important to my clients as well, which is why Two Rivers Mortgage will make a donation of $100 to the charity of their choice when their loan closes. Getting a mortgage through me will also help make a positive impact in the world!
My aspirations go beyond that of mortgages and giving back. I also have much love for (and in no particular order):
My cozy home in the Montavilla neighborhood, Broadway musicals, bike rides, running, suspense novels, wine, roller coasters, my patient husband, my two girls, our beloved dog Byrd, road trips, family trips, girls trips, solo trips, Mt. Tabor walks, trying new restaurants, and supporting local businesses.
